Selecta Siempre is a mate with the addition of herbs, suitable for digestive issues or after a heavy Sunday lunch. Ingredients: Yerba mate, dill, chamomile, Boldo (Peumus boldus), Gomphrena (Gomphrena perennis), anise Dill facilitates digestion and helps with flatulence issues, and it is also a diuretic. Chamomile, in addition to its calming effects, helps with a heavy stomach feeling. Boldo (Peumus boldus), used especially in traditional medicine, is very useful in treating constipation and colic. Gomphrena (Gomphrena perennis) is used for throat inflammations and has anti-inflammatory effects. The traditional name Siempre vive means "eternal life." Anise generally supports the digestive system and has sedative effects. Selecta yerba mate is considered one of the best Paraguayan mates. Only the best is used in its production – the stems and leaves of yerba mate, which are the most aromatic and have a high content of vitamins and minerals. The history of Selecta began around the year 1942, when Mr. Reinaldo Brönstrup and his wife Mrs. Malvina Bohn, both immigrants, dedicated themselves to the first yerba mate plantations in the area; they decided to start the production of Yerba Mate, a few years later a mill was built and from the year 1950 they dedicated themselves to the integral production of Yerba Mate from the nurseries, cultivation, harvesting, processing and packaging of the final product, which went on the market with the name of Yerba Mate Selecta. More than 70 years have passed since the "Selecta" brand came onto the market, the greatest legacy left by the past generation is the culture of work, faith in God and love for the family as well as the values of excellence, teamwork, honesty and respect that drive to continue with the objective of "Producing Quality".
