A new release from the renowned Brazilian brand in a somewhat unusual form, Brazilian maté prepared in the Argentine style. In this case, the herb is dried using the traditional Barbacua method, which imparts a characteristic smoky aroma and flavor. The leaves and stems naturally age for 18 months, allowing their flavor to mature and develop further. The flavor of Meta Mate in this version can be described as grainy and nutty with a pleasant bitterness and not too astringent. The infusion also contains a fair amount of sweetness (creaminess), grassy notes, astringent taste on the tongue, mild acidity, and minimal smoky accents. This is undoubtedly not a typical Argentine Barbacua, as it is much closer to its country of origin, Brazil. It retains its unique flavor for a long time and provides a solid amount of energy.
