Product detailed description

Yerba Maté Yacuy Tereré Lemon Mint with medium to coarsely cut leaves, minimal powder , and a high content of stems, is primarily intended for cold preparation. The maté is enriched with peppermint and natural lemon aroma, which gives it a very refreshing taste and aroma that lingers even in subsequent infusions. It is suitable for beginners, but also appealing to experienced maté drinkers. When prepared cold, there are no bitter notes in the flavor. If you choose traditional preparation, it is recommended to use water at a lower temperature, around 65-75°C. This brings out a more intense flavor than with tereré. The brand Yacuy was founded in 1948 and is especially popular in its home country of Brazil and neighboring Uruguay. Yacuy's range includes over a dozen premium blends, with part of the production certified as organic. Yerba maté Yacuy is harvested from wild trees in the Iguaçu River basin, which flows through the namesake national park in the Brazilian state of Paraná. The company emphasizes sustainable development and the protection of the ecosystem and working conditions of local residents. Harvesting is carried out under strict rules without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or artificial fertilizers. Yerba can be repeatedly brewed, at least 10 times, without losing its intensity of flavor. In long hot weather, tereré is one of the best ways to hydrate the body for many people. A good way to enjoy tereré is to prepare a strong infusion from 200g of maté in 0.5 liters of water, strain it through a sieve, and use the strong homemade extract with mineral water, ice, and juice.
