The tea consists of coarser ground leaves, and the herb is harvested from wild-growing shrubs, which are picked once every 12 months. It’s a refreshing, invigorating beverage. PIPORÉ In the Guarani language, "PI" means foot, "PO" means hands, and "RE" means steps. The word Piporé was created from these. According to legend, the chief Santos pressed his hands and feet into the earth by the riverbank, leaving an indelible mark. The Jesuits baptized him as Santo Pipó.
