Verdelandia Tereré Extra Strong is Brazilian maté with a coarser cut and a generous amount of mint and boldo, intended for cold preparation. Verdelandia is a traditional family business founded in 1985. It was one of the first in the state of Paraná to start vacuum packing, which keeps maté fresh much longer. In addition to traditional chimarrao, it has also focused on producing tereré in recent years. The company adheres to a sustainable approach, intensively investing in reforestation and planting new holly trees, from which the raw product for maté production is harvested once they mature. More flavors arrived in the factory at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The company started the production of Mate herb for terere drinks. The success of our terere drinks consists of the mix of the green Mate herb and the flavor of mint, peppermint, lemon, pineapple, and others.
Verdelandia Mate Herb industry consists of four lines of production: three for the processing of Mate for chimarrão and one for terere. It produces over a million kilos of Mate herb per month and it is available throughout the country.
